Data reveals that a law degree no longer guarantees a lucrative career

A government dataset, which for the first time gathered graduate earnings not only by subject but by university course, a move that was possible only after legal changes allowing researchers to obtain tax returns, has highlighted a gap between graduate salaries from the UK's top and bottom universities, and shown that law degree graduates earn a median salary of only £25,300 after five years, earning less than other graduates.
